HOW YOU CAN HELP US
Our work is the work of God which is primarily to consecrate the hours
of each day through prayer. We find that manual labor, which is suggested in St. Benedict's Rule, is an important part of our spirtuality and nourishes our prayer life.
Rather than secure employment in the world, we choose to work at the monastery which preserves our daily rhythm of prayer and peace.
Right now, our most urgent need is to reduce the size of our mortgage on the Monastery building. We have never received financial help from either
our Motherhouse or Diocese. Our mortgage is $250,000. with a monthly payment of $3,000.00. With your help we will be able to reduce this amount and
continue to develop our cottage industries at home.
